Most worldwide stock indices have a lot of ground to make up in short time if they are to return to levels they were at when Mercury went Retrograde late last month.

Technical indicators suggest most stock markets will bounce higher this week and the Wall Street indices are within relatively easy reach of returning to within a per cent of the Mercury Rx price levels by the time the communications planet returns to Direct motion late this week...

While I was researching Bear Sterns I looked at Goldman Sachs' chart, and as I was typing along, Abby Joseph Cohen came on CNBC today (March 20, 2008). Experience suggests that a company will send out a top girl followed in a few weeks by the CEO to reassure the investing public. Is this a corporate Red Flag?

So I revisited the charts...

Spring Equinox (an overview of the three months ahead) The Spring Equinox occurs on March 20 2008 at 1:49 am EDT. The chart is set for Washington D.C. There will be a Super New Moon May 5 and June 3, therefore, earthquakes can be very destructive especially along the USA West Coast.Saturn turns direct May 3 and Jupiter turns retrograde May 9. The accounting department will send the salesmen on vacation. Mercury retrograde begins May 26 and ends June 18, if you buy something that costs more than $10 expect it will self destruct.

First let's describe the reality from the astrology point of view. The whole recession scenario started with Jupiter conjunct Pluto on December 10th, 2007 then Jupiter moved into Capricorn on the same day as Saturn turned retrograde December 20th. As explained in The Textbook for Financial Astrology there are some 20 aphorisms in financial astrology and Jupiter changing signs is one...

On Monday, January 21, 2008 at 4:14 am EST, we get the first of the three Jupiter trine Saturn aspects occurring between the Earth signs, Capricorn and Virgo.  I dealt with the symbolism of this at some length last week, because of the eons-old link of these two planets in accurately depicting business cycles.

For the first time since September, 1999, a Bear sell signal has been thrown up by new lower Lows being recorded in both the Dow Industrials and the Dow Transports. Back in October, I introduced the basic concepts of classic Dow Theory...

Jupiter will transit Capricorn from December 19, 2007-January 7, 2009 his previous transits of Capricorn were January 1996-1997 and January 1984 - February 1985, and September 1972-February 1973. Jupiter expands the things ruled by the sign that it transits. All of this is fine until you think about it. An abundant supply means that the price will be less. Example: Apples during harvest season are cheaper than they are six months later....

The dollar has made headlines since October 1, 2007. Its value relative to the Euro and the Yen has decreased steadily.  Even the Chinese have suggested that they might reconsider pegging their currency, Yuan, to the value of the dollar...

Dear Markay, The oil prices are on a high, but the gold prices have receded quite a bit. Will the gold prices start trending upward from now after touching support or will they be going much further down. Dear Markay, Question on Mercury Rx. Kaye says and I have noticed that during this period the markets are volatile I have also noticed a Bradley turn seems to pop up during these periods as well. Monday is a holiday. If price on the DOW is to come within 1 percent of when Mercury goes Rx what price is more accurate? Fridays close? or Tuesday open? I am thinking Tuesdays open. Or might you check the ES price ? Thanks for any info you can provide on this for me.  Rick

Dear Markay,
I bought your course from the internet recently. I have skimmed the material and I was very surprised to see that you were using jupiter to natal transits to both the IPO and incorporation dates. Alphee Lavoee states that Incorporation dates don't work. Bill Meridian uses IPO dates and has published a whole book on IPO dates. I also use the IPO dates via a proprietary model. The point I'm trying to make is, you can't have 2 birthdates for a stock, just like you can't have 2 birthdates for a person. Doing this breaks on of the basic rules of astrology. So why are you using both dates? Jbadura
